Is it really free?

Yes — every tool, across every family. No account, no watermark, no export limit and no trial clock. There is nothing to upgrade to.

Is anything I open, type or paste uploaded anywhere?

No. Every tool processes its input in your browser tab — a QR payload, a photo, a PDF, a note, a pasted token. Open the network tab while you use one and you will not see it leave the page. That is also why every tool keeps working with the network off. If you have accepted analytics, you will see occasional page-view pings, but those never carry what you typed, opened or pasted.

Do I need an account?

No, and there is no way to make one yet. The two tools that save anything — the QR generator's history and the print studio's saved pages — keep it in your browser's own storage on this device.

Does it work offline?

Yes, once a page has loaded. This is a progressive web app: add it to your home screen and every tool keeps working with no connection, because none of them needs a server.

Do the QR codes expire?

No. A static QR code contains the data inside the square itself. There is no lookup, no redirect and no subscription that can lapse. It keeps working even if this site disappears entirely.

Can I track how many people scan my QR code?

Not today. Scan tracking requires a dynamic code — a short redirect URL that reports back — and that means the code depends on a service staying online. We would rather add that as a clearly-labelled option than make every code fragile by default.

Can I use these tools' output commercially?

Yes. There is no licence or attribution requirement on anything a tool here produces — a QR code, a compressed image, a merged PDF, an exported note. QR code technology specifically is also patent-free and unencumbered, if that was the question.

Why did my QR code stop scanning after I printed it?

Almost always size, contrast, or the quiet zone. The code needs a blank margin, strong dark-on-light contrast, and roughly a tenth of the reading distance in width. Printing a small PNG scaled up is another common cause — use the vector export for print.

Can I put a logo in the middle of a QR code?

Yes — the Custom QR Code tool adds a colour, a module shape and a centre logo, and raises the error-correction level to H automatically so the area the logo covers stays recoverable.

Which QR types are supported?

Twelve: link, text, WiFi, contact (vCard), UPI payment, PayPal, email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, calendar event and location. Each has its own page documenting the exact payload it produces.

Is this the same as a Bharat QR code?

No. UPI codes here are upi://pay deep links, which is what an individual or small merchant wants for scan-to-pay. Bharat QR is an EMVCo format whose merchant identifiers are issued by acquiring banks, so it cannot be generated self-serve.

Is my camera feed uploaded when I use the QR scanner?

No. The scanner decodes video frames on your device with a WASM QR decoder, and nothing is transmitted. The camera stops the moment you leave the scanner or deny the permission, and you can revoke it any time from your browser's site settings.

Do the image tools remove GPS data from photos?

The EXIF Viewer & Remover does, on request. It reads a photo's EXIF block — including GPS coordinates, capture time and device model — and can strip it at the byte level without re-encoding the image, so the pixels are untouched.

Can these tools open a password-protected PDF?

No. An encrypted PDF's streams and strings cannot be read without the password, so the file is detected and reported rather than failing partway through. Remove the password in the application that set it, then come back.

Do the developer tools store anything I paste?

No. Each tool computes its result in the tab, and nothing persists once you leave the page — there is no history, no saved sessions and nothing written to storage.

Is it safe to paste a real API key or JWT into a developer tool?

Safer than any tool that transmits it, because it never leaves the tab. It is still a live credential though — prefer an expired token or a test key where you can, and rotate anything you have previously pasted into tools whose behaviour you have not checked.

How does the shareable note work with no account and no server?

The note is compressed and carried entirely in the URL fragment — the part after # — which browsers never send to a server. There is nothing to store and nothing to expire; the link itself is the note.

Where do I report a bug?

Email [email protected], or see the Contact page. If something you made here does not come out right — a code that will not scan, a PDF that will not open, a conversion that looks wrong — that is the most valuable thing you can tell us, because nothing reaches us automatically. Include the tool and the device, since behaviour varies a lot between platforms.

We use privacy-friendly analytics to see which pages get used — never what is inside a code you generate, which stays on this device either way. Read the privacy policy.
